Mini Twister Wallhanging

Sorting through college daughter's things, I came across this little wallhanging I made her one Christmas. These batiks are so "her" and I love that it gets to hang in our house for the summer. (As she was pretty adamant that it was only on "loan"). (love that!)
I'm behind on all my sewing. I haven't even looked at my yellows for the June RSC and my ALYoF June Goal still sits exactly where it's been. But that's okay! I have five days of summer school left then watch me sew. And so far, it looks like I have a sewing weekend coming up, which means I just may meet those June goals yet! Yah!
Just curious, what are your weekend plans?

With Smiles!

  1. So happy she 'loaned' it to you. Usually the last weekend of the month is to check that everything on the list is done - do some reorganizing - and get things kitted and lined up for the next month.

  2. When you are retired weekends are the same as the rest of the time... so more of the same. In fact, we have learned not to shop or go out much during the weekends. There are sooooo many people and traffic here... especially on the weekends, that we stay home. Just can't take the rat race anymore.
So it's sewing!!!!!!!!!! Working on the backs of the H2H quilts... found a hole in the one that will have to get patched. (Putting that on the blog... sort of a True Confessions thing.)
Hurray! SS almost over. More sewing! More blogging?
    Hugs

  12. ooo - Batiks are so pretty in the Twister! I've got a few quilts on loan for the gap year that our recent college graduate is taking to earn money for post-grad. Love it!

Well, the weekend has come and gone, but I can tell you I did next to nothing, and that counts as a pretty good weekend to me :)
