They sure do get lost a lot! ;) www.quiltartbymegan.comMegsAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03966689872872927944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-85462740930392192822014-08-08T13:15:17.730-06:002014-08-08T13:15:17.730-06:00As I read this I invented a deep quilt sleeve sort...As I read this I invented a deep quilt sleeve sort of thing for my rulers at the next house... still unknown.
It'll have to be deep enough for the widest ruler, 8n1/2, and have some length to support the 5"x24". Now how to hang it, maybe just thread some cords at the end and hang by two nails or hooks. I've got time to reckon on that one. Might be the next house has no space for such a device. Before I packed up the sewing room I kept the rulers behind the cork board that was tilted on the back of my cutting board.
Love this revisit of your organization blogs.
HugsTerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08927552672720816359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-64431771166618381102013-12-31T05:04:31.085-07:002013-12-31T05:04:31.085-07:00the S hook idea is fabulous/ I have been hanging ...the S hook idea is fabulous/ I have been hanging my smaller rulers on a circular belt holder that I got to a thrift shop merrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-56776301910622537952013-09-19T17:19:34.181-06:002013-09-19T17:19:34.181-06:00I love the letter sorter idea too!!I love the letter sorter idea too!!Val's Quilting Studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09451000559295763123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-80020091589976868602013-09-19T16:35:21.432-06:002013-09-19T16:35:21.432-06:00My most used rulers are stored in what I call a &q...My most used rulers are stored in what I call a "letter sorter" which I found in a thrift store. It's made of metal and has several divisions which can hold more than just one ruler at a time. Other rulers are hanging from nails on a wall inside my "fabric pantry" (closet).Annienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-12551816425569321732013-09-18T06:11:15.813-06:002013-09-18T06:11:15.813-06:00I thought of those wood stands, but fear I'd ne...I thought of those wood stands, but fear I'd never put the rulers back! I love how the bin and dresser fit perfectly under your cutting table.

I only have one or two rulers, and they can normally be found where I was last working with them. We bought a 2x4 ft board and all my rulers fit nicely on there. It is nice knowing they are always where they should be.
