I have more trouble with the hand stitching so the 15 min a day thing is up my alley. Hoping to establish taking time to do it. I enjoy it, but never think to do it while setting down in the evening. TV and reading seem just to pop up. And really not that crazy about either one any more.allthingzsewnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09210000823417432398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-4168709029912838492018-01-29T06:36:53.030-07:002018-01-29T06:36:53.030-07:00what a cozy picture of your sewing time along with...what a cozy picture of your sewing time along with the cute little helper :) Deb @ Frugal Little Bungalowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13091419343402163298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-90752509176704950062018-01-29T06:08:27.906-07:002018-01-29T06:08:27.906-07:00Yes, sewing should be fun, not a chore to do 15 mi...Yes, sewing should be fun, not a chore to do 15 minutes a day. We go to FL for two months and I garden, so I quilt when I can and don't worry about it. It certainly helps to have a deadline, like a new baby, or a retirement (I'm 8 months behind on that one), or some other event related project, but otherwise I'm going with the flow and trying to use the stash. I do hope to get more charity quilts done and participate in more block drives. Being retired certainly helps. It should be fun not a task to be finished.<br />PatMissPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06807348837446241284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1307622517630413687.post-66426382969367099262018-01-28T17:45:42.826-07:002018-01-28T17:45:42.826-07:00Gorgeous work! I find I binge on projects maybe I just need a change of pace once in a while. Right now I need to decide on the color of fabric to finish my trailing vines. I started looking for 15 minutes every day because when the SIT was younger, we usually had swim meets or volleyball tournaments on the weekend. So often, the only way I got anything done was grabbing a few minutes every day. But at least you tried it and realized that it just doesn't fit the way you work.
