Retro Flower Quilting

I DO NOT make him do this! I promise!
Anyhooo...today found me quilting this Project Linus top.
I chose a Retro Flower pantograph..."Groovy flowers Marcia".
I was pretty flattered when my husband came home and said, "I really like this one." (How sweet!)But I too, like the big daisies.

I don't why my scruffy guy thinks he needs to supervise my picture taking, but do take a good look, as by the time I finish another quilting, he'll have had his Spring haircut....and just let me tell you, if ya think he loves the camera now...just WAIT!!! He thinks he's quite the HOTTY when he gets groomed!
With smiles,
Val:)

  3. Nice quilt, and quilting, Val.
How about that: a dog posing for a photo, and not able to get enough either! My Yorkshire terrier always hid, trembling and howling, when she saw a camera.

  9. The big flowers look like four leaf clovers and that's a perfect match for the backing. I thing your scruffy guy is a super model! He is such a happy guy!

  19. Linus is a good project. I made Linus quilts when I lived in Indiana and my guild had linked up with them. Then the guild shifted focus and I found online charity quilting. Now I am in Portland and the guilds I'm in have local projects, so I contribute locally as well as through Sunshine. I like the Linus quilt you showed; glad it has the dog's approval too.
