Flannel Twister Quilt Finished!

After two months...it's done!
And I couldn't be happier!
It's been fun to watch a layer cake of fabric evolve into something beautiful.

I like the light green flannel backing accented with the smokey black binding.

I think this Grizzly Ridge pantograph  as posted about here and
the brown variegated thread called Cedars from Superior Threads,
worked out perfectly for this quilt.

Here it is at home in the "man cave".
I know it made my guy (and the pups) pretty happy.
Happy "5-0" babe!
(I'm definitely making myself a flannel quilt soon as it's just so cozy.)
With smiles!
Val:)

  2. Wow, love the flannel twister. I have some extra flannel scraps from the backs of quilts and I think this just might be what they need. Wonderful!

Did you use a batting between your 2 layers of flannel?

  13. I always say that if a quilt is a hug, a flannel quilt is a double one! I love that you did yours in the Twister pattern which is so fun to do. I've got my flannel stash gathered for my next one, hopefully I'll have the UFO busting done by the Fall so I can start it. Definitely make one for yourself!!
