First Snow of the Year!

I love it when genuine moments like this are captured:
Nothing better than watching the first snow of the year through the eyes (and hearts) of children.

  1. The first snows are always such a beautiful sight....not so pretty in March and April. LOL

  2. You're killing me, Val. It's over 33C (about 92F) in the room I am sitting in right now and we don't have air conditioning.

I imagine I will be even more excited than these kids are now when I see snow for the first time. I also imagine I will be wearing so many layers of clothes at the time, that I won't even be able to put my arms by my side or walk without waddling.

    Enjoy!

  6. So true. Even in Michigan the first snows are something that is a huge deal here.

  7. Every year when I was little I couldn't wait for that first snowfall that said winter is here. We haven't had ours yet this year, but more than likely it will be coming soon. You definitely captured a great picture.

  13. Oh that's awesome. It so rarely snows here, that the kids are almost always allowed to run out and play in it immediately. It rarely lasts more than a few hours here though. LOL

  16. I remember the joys of the first snow. Drama Teen still likes the snow, mainly because she sometimes gets to sleep in when school gets canceled.
