LINKY: 6th Annual Piggy Bank Challenge!!

It's that time of year when we finally empty our piggy banks and splurge on something quilty!Click the picture to read more!
We'll be bringing out change to the coin counter on Monday...
...but I'm already thinking of using my savings to build some shelves for my
new sewing room. How about YOU? Now it's your turn to share!
Last July  a dozen of you signed for this year's challenge and even more joined through email after the linky closed. This week, empty those piggy banks my friends and create a post to link here with us exclaiming your total amount saved and share what quilty purchase you're going to make!
(FYI: The linky will be open for a week)
You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. I hope you have enough $$ for your shelves! Some coin counters charge money for counting, so you do need to be careful.

  2. I say get your shelves now, while you are organizing your space, you deserve them! Don't wait a year. Use your savings for a splurge.

  3. I'll try to get mine emptied this week. The SIT has raided my piggy bank for quarters for the laundry in her new apartment. That's the biggest bummer of not living on campus, you have to pay to do your laundry.

  5. I have been reading Quilting is More Fun Than Housework from the beginning. Just today I was reading July, 2015 and came across where you linked about the Money Challenge on the Oh Scrap post. I made a note of the date and went through the years on your post and HOW ABOUT THAT!! you just posted about it 2 days ago. I didn't miss it. Looking forward to participating.

  7. I’ve been saving my change, except for quarters used for the laundry, for several years now. I just cashed it in last week and had $23.50. Yesterday I ordered two quality rotary blades from Missouri Star Quilts on their free shipping day, so it will be put to good use.

  8. I managed to get $107.79 this year. I am going to keep this back and add more and eventually get a reproduction Featherweight table. They are about $275.00, so I still have a ways to go.
