Welcome!
It's a Tuesday linky that rejuvenates your old quilting/sewing posts and offers a place to find focused inspiration!
It's as easy as 1,2,3.
1. Each Tuesday I'll post two quilting/sewing themes.
2. Search through your quilting archives for old posts to link under the theme.(And/or as Celine at Espritpatch did, feel free to create a new post about an older quilt made "pre-blogging time".)
3. Visit a few other quilty friends, let them know how they have inspired you!
(The linky will be left open for three days each week.)
BUT! Before we begin I do have a quick announcement:
Stop and look over at the upper right hand corner of my sidebar (Right above my picture, then right above my linky button). As requested, you will find the Monthly Tuesday Archives Themes for the present month right there! (Next week's themes: Baby and Barns) Okay now on to today's linky of Animal and Award Winning Quilts.
ANIMAL QUILTS
Search though your archives for anything and everything animals!
As previously posted here, I made this cute dinosaur quilt for our Grandson last summer.
It was quick and easy. The dinosaur quilting added the perfect finishing touch!
AWARD WINNERS!
Don't be shy! Share your "award" winning quilts with us. I won a Viewer's Choice award for my Oh Happy Day Quilt and I have to admit I was pretty darn excited! LOL!
Annndd don't forget about this:
PS: Thank you to everyone for your support! If this is your first time by...welcome. If ya get a chance to add my button to your blog and/or linky party list, comment on this post to let me know you did and you'll be entered in a "surprise" fabric give-away! (Give-away winner will be announced Sunday, March 30th)
With smiles,
Val:)

DeleteYour quilt is so bright and cheerful! I don't think I have any posts about the quilts that have won awards - I blogged about them before they received their accolades (not much because it's just a local quilt show!) - but I just remembered an animal quilt I can link up! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteI blogged about you today Val -- thanks for the great Linky Party! So disappointed that I missed last week's Applique category -- I'll catch it next time around though. Awesome linky idea -- love it... and congrats on your award winning quilt -- I can see why it would be Viewers Choice!... Hugs, Karen

Both of your quilts are great. I love the idea of a dinosaur quilt!
ReplyDeleteSo far I'm loving this new linky party. It's been fun seeing everyones entries and looking for something to enter. Love your quilt! Such happy colors, right up my quilting alley! Bright and fun! I've added your button to my blog in hopes of others joining in the fun.
ReplyDeleteno award winners for me, but I DO have a few animals to share. =) thanks for the link up, val.
ReplyDeleteFun linky! I did figure out an animal quilt I'd made, but never have entered anything for an award. I see lots fewer folks in that list, so I'm not alone.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you won an award for that quilt! So much fun in one place.
Hugs
Yah...being a scrappy quilter myself...I only entered the fair out of the encouragement of a friend (Gotta love friends like that!)
DeleteI have your linky button on my blog...this week, don't have anything for animals, but next week for babies... I should have something!
