Winter Celebrations Stitching

The weather outside may be frightful...
Sunday Morning...freezing fog and an iced driveway.

...but  my stitching has been delightful!
Evenings spent stitching means I got all these pieces finished last week.
With only three more applique pieces left to stitch, I'll soon be putting my Winter Celebrations wall hanging quilt together just in time to enjoy during the Winter months ahead.
Happy stitching for sure! Hope your sewing finds you cozy and comfy as well.

  1. I hate ice - careful. We are do more snow and hopefully doesn't pan out like the other storms - our guild party is this week.

  3. Perfect quilting weather! We are sunny and almost 50 degrees, but I am still in my pjs in my sewing room.

  4. Can't wait to see the final result. Will you be home for the Holidays so you can get some quality sewing time in. But, of course, quality time with your grandson would work too.

  5. Brrr, looks cold!! So nice to be inside for a comfy sewing day. It is grey overcast and cold here, but no rain or snow yet. Still a good day to put Scrap Dance Waltz blocks together while I watch football games. Does Jackson have a sweater to wear? So cute with the Christmas lights on your header.

  13. LOL, the same song popped in my head (and a similar paraphrase went in my comment) when I checked out another SSS blog! This project is moving right along and what a perfect day to have stayed in to work on it!

  17. Glad you had very good reason to stay home out of the cold and ice to stitch. A much better alternative.
