Dec. OMG: Dotty Christmas Flimsy Finish

Welllll....I started the year and now ended the year joining all of you for:

I set out to make this quilt last December but it didn't get done:

But this year, this December, I enjoyed transforming that pile of fat quarters above into this
Dotty Christmas Finish:
This finish measures 48"x 68".
I would like you input on the backing. I put these choices in my
Fat Quarter "Cart" and of course, want to take advantage of the fact they are all on sale:
Enchantment Light Red Blessings Words Yardage SKU# Y1971-4  Craft Paper Christmas Black Words Yardage SKU# 41498-4  Storybook Christmas Green Scotties Yardage SKU# 41747-2
Which one do ya think? They are a little blurry, but the red has words and the green has little Scotties.
Please feel welcome to comment to let me know what you think. And....thanks ahead of time.

I specialize in edge to edge pantographs with over 100 designs to choose from.

  2. I vote for the green. It is kind of dotty, too, so it carries through your theme. Very cute quilt!

  3. Fun top! I like the green but then I'm always going to pick an animal print over a text print :)

  4. Fun quilt! For backing, I like the dark one in the middle...black with words, and I'd bind it in the same. :)

  5. I know I am probably going to be in the minority because it's such a traditional choice, but I am, and always will be a red lover. :D But really, you can't go wrong with any of those three choices. Congrats on getting this pile of FQ's into a Christmas quilt! I really like that pattern!

  7. I'd go for the black text print in the middle, but I'm really into text prints right now. It will be a lovely Christmas quilt. Happy New Year!

  10. How did I miss this post? I love the green Scotty dogs for the backing. So cute! Congrats on getting the flimsy done this year! That's a great pattern :)

  11. I'm sure you've bought it by now, but I would go with the dark one in the middle, simply because it's kind of unexpected. I almost bought that collection at a quilt show, but when I went back through the vendors I couldn't find it. I wish I had bought it when I first saw it. Your quilt is darling.
