Progress....

Having a stitching project nearby is always soothing isn't it.
This one sits at our kitchen table where my Ott Lite is easy to use and
I can stitch as hubby and I catch up at the end of each day.
I almost have all the birds and flowers stitched onto their rows.
It's fun to watch the bright wool flowers and birdies brighten the wonky houses.
Happily stitching this morning and quilting our grand-guys SuperHero quilt this afternoon.

  1. Lovely project. It's amazing how quickly they grow when you add a stitch or two every day!

  2. Very cute and colorful . . . I love having a hand project that I can grab and work on whenever the mood hits me. It also help me to not snack at night watching TV . . . if my hands are busy stitching they cann't be popping snacks into my month, LOL.
    Keep Smiling!!!

  9. Such a sweet project. I did a bit of hand stitching this weekend as well. I am embellishing an old Halloween panel wall hanging. The goal is just to practice my stitching with pearle cotton. So I chose something that I am not particularly attached to. Like anything else, it takes practice!!

  12. Hey Val... guess what?!?! You won the thread on the Save the Bees draw!!
You came up a "no reply" blogger (but luckily I know who you are!) so I don't have your email address.
    Can you email me? Congrats!
