Having a stitching project nearby is always soothing isn't it.
This one sits at our kitchen table where my Ott Lite is easy to use and
I can stitch as hubby and I catch up at the end of each day.
I almost have all the birds and flowers stitched onto their rows.
It's fun to watch the bright wool flowers and birdies brighten the wonky houses.
Happily stitching this morning and quilting our grand-guys SuperHero quilt this afternoon.
Lovely project. It's amazing how quickly they grow when you add a stitch or two every day!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and colorful . . . I love having a hand project that I can grab and work on whenever the mood hits me. It also help me to not snack at night watching TV . . . if my hands are busy stitching they cann't be popping snacks into my month, LOL.
ReplyDeleteKeep Smiling!!!
Connie :)
Slow hand stitching is a lovely way to spend time, isn't it. Another lovely block in the making. Your wonky house, sweet little bird and flower are very sweet. Have a beautiful week, lovely Val.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a happy project! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteYup, the best thing about a hand stitching project is that it’s social. Looking delightful!
ReplyDeleteThat looks adorable! I've been hand stitching all afternoon, it's definitely soothing ๐๐
ReplyDeleteI love this project so much! I should be making mine while you do yours, but I just can't squeeze it in right now.
ReplyDeleteSweet project! I love wonky houses and birds.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet project. I did a bit of hand stitching this weekend as well. I am embellishing an old Halloween panel wall hanging. The goal is just to practice my stitching with pearle cotton. So I chose something that I am not particularly attached to. Like anything else, it takes practice!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun block! Stitching during relaxing conversation is twice as nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching!
So sweet! I only have time to quickly check a few blogs now and then right now, but seeing some happy blocks is soothing my soul :)
ReplyDeleteHey Val... guess what?!?! You won the thread on the Save the Bees draw!!
ReplyDeleteYou came up a "no reply" blogger (but luckily I know who you are!) so I don't have your email address.
Can you email me? Congrats!
