We had fun making tangram bunny cards in 2nd grade today!
Kinda thought it would make a really cute quilt block too! (ooohhh I just imagined making a classroom quilt made of tangrams figures.) Anyhooo... I wanted to take a second to wish everyone a blessed and happy Easter weekend.
With smiles,
Val:)

ReplyDeleteI bought a Tangrams set for my brothers birthday many years ago. We did have a lot of fun with it.

ReplyDeleteI love 2nd grade! Happy Easter to you and your family too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! My eye spy squares arrived today and I am halfway through another quilt so perfect timing!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bunny. I really enjoyed using pattern blocks with my kindergarteners through the years. We did quilts using squares, rectangles and triangles. They learned so many things with the activity. Your 2nd graders might really like it. I had grandmas come to sew the seams and the kids pressed the foot pedal. Oh, I will stop now and wish you and Happy Easter
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute! Happy Easter to you too! -Brittany
