MyTwister is a Flimsy Finish!

It always amazes me that this goes to this (tutorial) and then to the above.
How about you? What part of quilting just makes ya sit back&say: "Wow...this is so cool!"
I can't wait to quilt and bind this one.
Wishing everyone a great day!
Val:)

  1. Hi Val! This is fantastic quilt! I like the pattern and your Fabrics! I have made stars and swirls with men's shirts - this pattern would be so perfect for the third quilt in that 'collection'. x Teje

  3. Great job Val! Yes, the Twister design is definitely one of those "the magic of quilting" techniques---always amazes given the simplicity of what you start with. I've also been surprised to see the variety of designs you can make using it.

  6. Hey Val, we both have flimsy finishes on Friday! How often is that going to happen?
Love your Twister! I gotta try that.

  7. For me it is intricate paper piecing. You get all these random pieces, fabric sticking out at odd angles, then all of a sudden, it's this amazing quilt block!

  9. Great quilt. I like how a small piece of fabric can look entirely different from when it was on the bolt xx
