This week's WIP

I'm binding myself towards another Friday Finish.
This is the Chevron Quilt  that I've been making for my mom, but got set aside to finish my T-Shirt Quilt. I have to admit that binding is my very favorite slow stitching to do. (Applique is my second)
Do you have a favorite slow stitching project? If so, please do share.

  2. I would say my favorite is needle turn applique. But if I don't want to have to think too much I like sewing on the binding, I look forward to seeing your finished quilt!!

  7. I love to hand sew the binding too! I love the chevron quilt you made. I just ordered fabric to make one for my son.

  8. I am yet to try hand sewing the binding. Hand stitching anything tends to make me a little agitated. I get easily frustrated at how slow it all goes. I am starting to learn patience by knitting, but I still have a long way to go until I desire to do hand sewing. Perhaps part of the problem is that I tend to be incredibly slow at things as it is, so to purposely do something slow has me going at a snail's pace.

  15. Hand stitching the binding is a lovely pastime as is basting hexagons for EPP. Heck, I love all sorts of hand sewing and machine sewing; it is all enjoyable! Love the pink fabric in the picture. What line is is from?
