Our grandson is turning one next week and I'm creating him a crib size quilt to celebrate!
I have my fabric collected, the quilt sketch is made and our monkey is enlarged.
I'm linking up with everyone at ALYofF and looking forward to getting started on this.
Our weather is beautiful and I plan to work on the applique outside on the patio today.
How about you? What are you up to this weekend??

ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteWonder of wonders, I'm actually spending time in my sewing room today working on something inspired by our recent Alaskan trip - bliss.
I'm starting a new quilt, too. A Drunkard's Path Quilt Along with Vicki Welch. I've always loved the pattern. I'm using purples and reds with white... starting on the wedding gift for the next granddaughter who is already engaged.
ReplyDeleteWondering about your sock monkey. Is he a faux fur? He looks furry.
Hugs,
Looks like it's going to be a fun baby quilt. Enjoy your outdoor stitching time.
