You're killing me, Val. It's over 33C (about 92F) in the room I am sitting in right now and we don't have air conditioning.
I imagine I will be even more excited than these kids are now when I see snow for the first time. I also imagine I will be wearing so many layers of clothes at the time, that I won't even be able to put my arms by my side or walk without waddling.
Every year when I was little I couldn't wait for that first snowfall that said winter is here. We haven't had ours yet this year, but more than likely it will be coming soon. You definitely captured a great picture.
Oh that's awesome. It so rarely snows here, that the kids are almost always allowed to run out and play in it immediately. It rarely lasts more than a few hours here though. LOL
Aww! So sweet! that's really a wonderful photo, and you KNOW those kiddos will have amazing memories of being in your class and getting to experience that excitement.
The first snows are always such a beautiful sight....not so pretty in March and April. LOL
ReplyDelete,,,or when they come stomping in from recess!

So true. Even in Michigan the first snows are something that is a huge deal here.

ReplyDeleteTruly a moment to capture. But I am glad we don't have snow here yet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo! I love it. We're getting down to 10 F tonight (-12C). Thank goodness for warm homes.
ReplyDeleteWow! Can't believe you have snow before us! Adorable picture!
ReplyDeleteOh, it started during school. Yes, the children are so mesmerized with the first snow.
ReplyDeleteSweet photo Val we woke up to snow here in the Ozarks

So sweet! We can all learn appreciation and wonder from children.
ReplyDeleteI remember the joys of the first snow. Drama Teen still likes the snow, mainly because she sometimes gets to sleep in when school gets canceled.
ReplyDeleteYou brought back the memories of that thrill and excitement for sure Val. So sweet to see "your" kids at the classroom window!
