As I find myself facing two twelve hour days of parent teacher conferences, I head out the door today intentional in enjoying the opportunity and productivity of my long days ahead...
...to have fun and communicate happy things
about each of my students to their families...
and to most of all, have a happy heart and to do all things with love!
Wishing you the same...especially as I look forward to sharing this quilty finish with you very soon!
That is so great. I love your quilting on it too.
ReplyDeleteLove this panto with this pattern.
ReplyDeleteLove to hear that a teacher is happy and willing to tell happy things about her students. Where were you when I was a kid? (I out age you by 20.) Lol
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt. I can see where that happy heart comes from.
Hugs

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finish heart quilt :)
You are a dream-come-true of a teacher Val. Happy hearts are the very best, both in life and in quilting!
ReplyDeleteLoving the heart quilting on your gorgeous quilt, Val. You would be the best teacher, always finding the positive in each child. I would think any parent would love to have their child experience your fun and happiness in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteLooking terrific! Love that panto!

ReplyDeleteI love to FMQ hearts (on my domestic Bernina) and these two dedigns could be easily adapted to FMQ. Good like with the parent conferences. You can reward yourself with a weekend of quilting.
ReplyDeleteThose little hearts are so sweet. Have a great day with the parents, those are really long days!
