I didn't know Hexagons came this small (these are 3/8") until I starting prepping my monthly Sue Spargo block of the month today! (I love how she's having us incorporate fabric accents with wool.)
I've never used a UHU glue stick, and well, let's just say it's been the perfect addition to my Hexi sewing kit! I highly recommend it. A little dab really helps keep these itty bitty guys from moving around while I needle turn the edges.
The flower turned out soooo cute, don't ya think!

Oh boy those are small. So do you hand piece these or use EPP method. I bet they will be really cute, but I am sure my old hands couldn't work with anything that small. Can't wait to see your progress.
ReplyDeleteI know...they are really small. I'm using the EPP method. :)
DeleteI don't use glue (I'm assuming that's essentially what a UHU stic is??) ... but then the smallest hexie I've worked with is 1". I'm not sure my hands could work with anything that small ... but they sure are the cutest things!
ReplyDeleteWow, tiny and so cute!

ReplyDeleteWow, they are little! Very cute and I'm sure UHU helps a lot. I'm working with 2" hexies and considered them small?! x Teje
ReplyDeletegorgeous little hexie!
ReplyDeleteYou are kidding me! Did you go cross-eyed while sewing these cuties together?
ReplyDeleteI have some hexies this size and I'm afraid to open the package. I can't begin to imagine piecing them.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness... so so tiny! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteSweet and so tiny!
ReplyDeleteYour little flower is adorable. I've made one 1/4 inch flower and that was a job!
ReplyDeleteit's absolutely adorable! you're not stopping with just one, are you? I can not imagine working with something that small. I hear they even come in 1/4", would you believe it. the glue probably helps a lot. =)
ReplyDeletethanks for linking up with "In Hand"!
I can't imagine working on something so small. It looks like it could be fun as a once off, but more than that would send me crazy :)
