This has been my WIP this week and it's always kinda fun to watch these...
...gradually begin to turn into...
...these:
Stop by Friday to see my Beach Houses Quilt done & ready for our upcoming vacation!
With Smiles,
Val:)
Oh! You are very quick and efficient! I love your little beach houses... they are so cute... I may copy you one day!
ReplyDeleteI'm using the Suburbs Pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew. The pattern is layer cake and fat quarter friendly and it's coming together surprisingly quick!
DeleteVery cute beach houses!
ReplyDeleteZoom, zoom -- where would we be without chain-piecing?
ReplyDeleteFun beach houses, Val. I especially like the different fabrics you're using for the "sky/background". I'll certainly look in on Friday.
ReplyDeletevery cool-you get so much done with your quilts-hugs
ReplyDeleteLove your little crab shacks! :) Especially with that blue sky.
ReplyDeleteOh, little houses, so cute! I gotta get my current projects done! I'm missing out on lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteHugs
I spent the day moving one of classrooms...A beach house sounds much better either being at one or making one! At least they turned on the a/c for me!
ReplyDeleteUGH...for awhile there I was moving classrooms every year until now...knock on wood!!!
DeleteSooooooo cute can't wait to see the final product!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like you got a lot done. Good luck with your goal of a finish by Friday.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your finish on Friday!
ReplyDeleteIsn't chain piecing the best? These houses are so much fun. I'll be back on Friday!
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaa, that is me screaming with delight. I have wanted to make a quilt like that for a long time. It is so darn cute! How did I miss this this post until now. I cannot wait until Friday! Just darling Val!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Val! I just saw this quilt made up at my LQS and they had it in two colorways--one of which was Halloween! I may have to add this to my overflowing bucket list.
ReplyDeletePugs and kisses,
Nancy
Ready to move in!
ReplyDeleteLove the chaining as "tree art". Your house are too darn cute!!!
