It's A Small World

My bags are unpacked, new projects are on the horizon, and life gets back to normal today as I settle back into my day to day routines as a second grade teacher. But the joy of attending a quilting convention has rejuvinated my creative spirits and I won't be found without my sketchbook for a very long time now! It was awesome to have received a few emails from fellow blogging buddies who where going to be at the convention. I enjoyed lunch with Jasmine and her adorable mother.

It was very cool to see Helen's helicopter quilt in person and...
...imagine our surprise when Barb and I found ourselves in the very same Friday morning class! It truly is a small world!! I'm starting to write my Thursday Inspiration posts sharing the many lessons learned from my HMQS classes and tomorrow our Tuesday Archives theme is ironically...Quilt Shows! How fun! Until then, it's time to get my lunch packed and myself off to work, grateful for this wonderful hobby of ours.

Yes, it would be fun to have a Bloggy Friends Meet Up one day. Hmmm.... I have a curved-pieced quilt on the frame to do this week - glad I have their rulers :)
