This week's theme is: HOUSES!

This week I'm happy to highlight Ruth's "Modern Irish Bee" quilt above. Can you believe all these houses have  been created through a Bee?!?! You can see by her sketches the finishing touches she has planned for it and please click on over to her blog Charly & Ben's Crafty Corner to check out her entire post. Having never participated in a "bee" has me all curious now...so if you ever put one together do let me know as I'd like to participate.

  1. As always, a great topic Val! The featured quilt is really great and shows that Bees can be a great way to get a lot of really different blocks that go beyond your own stash.

  4. Thanks a million for the highlight! I found myself in 3 bees at the same time which was mental! Thankfully more manageable now! didn't they do brilliantly with the blocks - was great fun opening the post every week for a full month!!

  5. Hi Val. Glad you're back from vacation and hope it was great! We missed, or maybe I just missed, the Tuesday Linky that was going to be embroidery. I love, love, love embroidery of all sorts. If I missed it in error, could you let me know the date, please? If not posted, can we still do it some day? I would love to see what folks are doing. Thx!
