It's been that kind of weekend where the lamps remain lit all day long. Pouring rain throughout the day and night. As I wake this morning, the sky continues to be a sheet of grey with dark, rain clouds billowing on the horizons. The birds chirp and flutter about as they enjoy moment of reprieve.
April showers, right?
My favorite kind of sew day.

I always think of rainy days as sewing days. We actually got 3/8ths of an inch last night here. My hubby finished our shop's roof on Thursday, so now he can go up into the attic and inspect that there are not any leaks. I think we are all gravitating toward bright fabrics to bring on spring. Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteIt rained all day yesterday here too, so I got in a whole day of papercrafting!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lot of rain as well. Today tho, it is blue skies and sunny. Hoping to get some sewing in tho - I haven't been sewing lately and I miss it.
ReplyDeleteWe've had stuff falling from the sky periodically all day, but ours has been white. Not sticking, but depressing just the same. We're about 20° below normal for this time of year with no warm up in sight until next weekend and even that may be iffy. While I do appreciate the sewing time, I would like to get outside and do some spring clean-up.

ReplyDeleteHope you got in lots of good stitching time today. It didn't rain so much as spit drizzle all day. It was really a nice day to spend in the sewing room.
ReplyDeleteIt's Monday morning - SUNSHINE!!!!
ReplyDeleteBright colored fabric on a grey day . . . that's a wonderful idea for a pick-me-up of pure happiness. Love that crooked sidewalk :)
