A "Campy" Quilt Finish

I always feel so honored to quilt for someone else. And I couldn't help but find myself falling in love with this adorable children's quilt Nancy, who blogs at Pug Mom Quilts, sent me.
First, what a great pattern to highlight our favorite larger print fabric.
Second, I had the perfect campy themed pantograph to help finish it with a whimsical touch.
This pantograph, though kinda hard to see in the picture, has tents, campfires, compasses, and fishing poles that perfectly accented her fabric! I had fun quilting this one.
Thanks for letting me quilt for you Nancy.
This one will be on it's way back to you tomorrow!

  1. Such a cute quilt. The panto you used couldn't be more perfect for this one. I click the photo to enlarge it and could see the quilting nicely.

  3. I love the bright and happy colors that she used and you are so sweet to quilt for other people. I have enough problem just having time for my own work. Stay warm.

  4. Aw, this is a darling quilt! I love all the little critters. You did a great job with the quilting, too!

I'm slogging through the quilting on a donation quilt that I'm feeling "meh" about. But I'm motivated by the deadline and getting it out of my studio! :)

  6. I've used adesign like this for kids' quilts before. Fast and easy and shows off the novelty print so well. I've always done my kid's quilts in bright primary colors. I think they remain usable longer than baby pastels. Nice that you had a panto that matched. Hope your weather is calming down and the kids don't come back to school thoroughly wound up.
