Personal resolution #1 this new school year:
I will get out at least once a month for a sew day.
I have a tendency to become a hermit once the weekend comes around yet, I miss that inspiration that comes from sewing with other women. The chit chat chatter. The laughs. The sharing of projects and ideas. So this Labor Day finds me packed and ready to go. My friend reserved the library in a small town nearby for us all to meet up and sew in (as she has the same resolution). Stay tuned!
Hope your Labor Day is restful and perhaps filled with a little sewing as well.
PS: Jackson only thinks he gets to go.
There's that precious Jackson!! Did he get to ride? Great idea to have some time set aside for sewing with friends. I love doing that too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great sewing day.
ReplyDeleteJackson always makes me smile--enjoy your sew day-what an awesome way to meet up with other sewers
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lovely plan. Enjoy you sew day.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jackson didn't get to go??? Why, I think he would be stimulating company. He would fit in perfectly and behave himself at the library. =)
ReplyDeleteI bet Jackson was soooo disappointed! I hope you had fun day!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! I wish I could join you :)
ReplyDeleteHope your sewing day was fun and fruitful. Jackson looks like he could have been a great helper!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your quilt-loving friends, both the furry and the family. Hope you had a great Sew day.

ReplyDeleteJackson is so cute! I hope you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fabulous resolution. My girlfriend comes to my house at least one Saturday per month for a day of sewing. We used to take turns but it has somehow evolved to this...I LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteGive Jackson pets from me...he is always the cutest!
Great resolution! Hope your day was wonderful sewing with other quilters!!
