Tuesday Archives #85: Wool

Hello! Hello! and Happy Tuesday Archives!
Val's Quilting Studio
You can also check out all our past Tuesday Archives themes by clicking right here.

This week's theme is anything WOOL:

This week I couldn't resist highlighting Rose who blogs at Three Sheep Studio . I have been following Rose ever since I started blogging. I love everything wool on her blog! When visiting her blog you will seriously find everything from wool applique, punch Needle Embroidery, Hand Embroidery with embellishment on wool fabric and Traditional Wool Rug Hooking. And even if you are not "into" wook I promise you will be inspired by her combination and use of colors and textures. See:

Though this fun sponsorship is ending. Thank you for you Fabrics N Quilts for your linky support! Good luck in your local endeavors, shows & pattern writing. If you'd like to be a sponsor in this spot, please send me an email. )

  1. Love wool and love using it in my textile art too, though I haven't included any of that in my links. Lovely work by Rose too - Chris @madebyChrissieD :D

  2. I love Rose's Blog and I have been following for ages too. It was her work with wool that inspired me to give it a go!

  3. I love little wool projects, but alas I am allergic to wool.

  4. I so love Three Sheep Studio! I looked forward to one day trying to add the kinds of embellishments to my projects like she does.

  5. One of these days I have to hop in on this linkup. I might have some archives now... The wool is timely; I have FINALLY found some off-white wool to use as the daisy petals for a inspired-by but self-designed quilt for which I've had the foundation sewn for oh, years... Love that stitch.

  6. Hey-o! I haven't mentioned this yet, but I love how your linky party changes focus every time. Variety keeps things interesting!

  7. There's definitely a lot of WOW in her projects.

I have to admit, your comments make me smile! Thanks for sharing and for letting me know you stopped by. I Hope your day is awesome!
