I think this is the funniest quit I've created and quilted in quite awhile!
I love everything about it and am especially glad it will find a home with our youngest grand guy.
This quilt got me back to doing the kind of freestyle, custom quilting I like to do. The puffy clouds as seen in the clouds above and the tulips and grass as seen below at the bottom of the quilt were fun.
Celebrating our little guy being one with another quilty hug and...
...continuously cracking up as he keeps "dancing" on his quilt!
Happy happy first birthday (again) little guy.
Love you bunches.
This is so stinkin' cute!! Congrats on your first finish of the year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie!! Love the Cow too. Very, very fun.
ReplyDeleteA true happy dance! Adorable finish Val. Love the little details!
ReplyDeleteI too, think this is your "funnest" quilt, Val. How sweet your little grandguy is dancing on his special quilt. Yep.....I am thinking he is loving his fabulous quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I recall learning apoem when I was in grade school a hundred years ago.
ReplyDelete"I never saw a purple cow.
I never hope to see one.
But I would rather see one
then be one."
Silly I know. My cows here at the Farm are all brown.
That is so much fun in more ways than one. Good job on the quilting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt ... and for such a cute little guy.
ReplyDeleteAdorable, both the quilt and the little guy - love those socks he has on, LOL!! The cow is so colorful!! Too cute.
